New addition

Take a look at that pretty thing.
Meet Sebastian, my new iPod. Actually, it may be Oliver or Diego, too. I haven't decided. But I love 3-syllable boy names.
32 gig, 2nd generation. Normally they sell for $399 on Apple.com, but I am a cheapskate so I used ebay, just as I did Milton. And I ended up saving $90. How bout it?? I know. He isn't here yet, but obviously he is a boy.
..right?
I feel bad for Milton, as he will become obsolete almost instantly. I don't want to sell him, even if it would be good to do so. He was faithful while he could.
But unfortunately, size matters. And I need much bigger.
And, incidentally, much sleeker. This is an ipod that would slick his hair back and wear a suit everywhere he went. I like a man with class. Or something.

Wake Up.
Okay, so yesterday at around this time, I mentioned drinking kickass coffee. Well, today is the same. I'm drinking really kickass coffee.
I blog about it, because I found something I'm good at.
It's not foldgers, don't insult me. It's Cameron's. I used to have a crush on a guy named Cameron. He was cool. And then he moved away. Anyway, it's like a chocolate brownie roast or something. So naturally it tastes nothing like chocolate brownies. But I get beans, so I grind them for just the right amount of time, and put the exact right amount of milk and sugar in it.
And to think I love starbucks so much. gosh.
(I won't stop going there but this is nice anyway)

The Appropriate.
The good news of my creativity sector this week is that I've started another story. That sentence can be said in two different ways. I've started another story, or I've started another story. Both are pretty accurate. I'm having a lot of trouble finishing anything because I simply just don't feel like it. My deviantart is bored, my word processor is on vacation, and my pens haven't moved since early 2009. I mean, it just sucks really. I'm much more than a "writer," because I am a musician, a lover, a coworker, a photographer, a facebook dweller, and a sister. A few of those there are much more important to me than writing.
I feel as though a lot of things have been ruined for me. I guess beforehand, my excuse for not writing anything was the musical. I loved the musical, but diggity damn. When I DID have spare time, it was used doing the simplest, easiest, and quietest things possible. I was in no energy to spit out more creativity. Acting is exhuasting, but acting, singing, dancing, and having the part of a perky gay man is unbelievable. Good show though. Man, I loved that. Wow. I miss it.
Anyway, so for a while I had a couple months of musical...no time for writing. And then, as B put it, "Mercury was clearly in retrograde". I don't know what this means, and I don't really believe it, but it was nice to have an excuse anyhow.
Since then, I don't really have an excuse. Well, I don't know. I've found myself a pair of critics. Meanwhile the rest of the world is like, "what? ridiculous". It doesn't MATTER what people think. Am I more willing to believe the negative than the positive in my life?
I think that goes for a lot more than just writing. But I'll get to that later.
I've started a story though. And I like it, and it has potential. I'm not going to talk about its plot until it's finished, though. Whenever I do that I usually drop the story like a bad habit. No matter. I'm going to finish this story, and edit an older one, and possibly send both in to the world. I'm excited to get going again.
Plus, this coffee is kickass.

Tomorrow
We're going to a gay pride parade thing tomorrow. I'm worried about:
-burning in the sun
-getting heatstroke
But I am prepared and I am going with people who know I'm crazy in such ways.
Things about tomorrow that are cool:
-dykes on bikes
-the city, which is the place I love most
-road trips
-rainbows
-getting up at 5:45 when you go to bed after 2
what?
